KA-LAI CHAN

Product Design

" For me it is so important to create real value and sustainability in the products I design. Because WE designers, create the future for this world and earth. A beautiful product itself is not enough, there need to be more to really connect. We are heading to a future where people want to be emotional bonded and caught by a product. I believe I can translate and combine storytelling, culture, functionality and sustainability in a distinctive way in a product. "

Ka-Lai Chan (*1985, NL) is the founder of Ka-Lai Chan Design, a design studio located in Utrecht, The Netherlands, specialized in designing interior products and delivering work for various design labels, hotels, restaurants and other clients.
